INGREDIENTS
3 eggs;
200 g (1 cup) sugar;
1 tsp vanilla extract;
200 g (⅔ cup) yogurt;
280 g (2 cups) all-purpose flour;
16 g (2 tbsp) baking powder;
1/2 tsp cinnamon;
2 apples;
30 g (2 tbsp) melted butter.

Preheat oven to 170C/340F. Line a 16 cm round tin with baking paper.

Beat eggs with sugar and vanilla until pale and fluffy.

Add the yogurt and whisk until smooth.

Separately sift the flour and whisk with the cinnamon and baking powder.

Mix the wet and dry ingredients until smooth.

Peel and core an apple, cut it into cubes and fold it into the batter.

Pour the batter and spread it evenly in the pan.

Place another apple, cored and thinly sliced, on top.

Pour the melted butter over it and bake the tart for 1 hour 30 minutes.
