A Japanese study has shown that the mixture of white vinegar and salt is not only delicious on a “fish and chips”, but also has powerful antibacterial qualities. Any bacterial residue found on your clothes will be killed during a laundry with white vinegar and salt. Use 1/2 cup of white vinegar and 2 teaspoons of salt.
Irritation caused by detergents often occurs due to residues left on your clothes. White vinegar leaves no residue at all. For those of you who still use laundry, adding just 1/2 cup of white vinegar will remove all residue from your clean clothes.
One of the main reasons why people use detergents is because of their fear that natural alternatives will not fight odours. White vinegar fights the bad smells, even those of socks that have been in your sports bag for a while.
For stains that can spoil your clothes, such as red wine, coffee, grease, etc., simply mixing 1/2 cup of white vinegar and hot water will remove almost all stains. Leave the garment in the mixture overnight, then wash it as usual afterwards.
Animal hair and soft toys are often a nightmare to remove clothing. It is the residue that conventional detergents leave on our clothes that “fits” these fluffys. White vinegar (using 1/2 cup for a normal machine load) will prevent you from these inconveniences.
Swap your laundry for white vinegar will also save you one of the most boring drawbacks of conventional laundry, static electricity.
