3-4 tablespoons milk or heavy cream

For the Cake:

6 large eggs, room temperature
1 cup heavy cream, room temperature
1 tablespoon vanilla extract
3 cups (375g) all-purpose flour, sifted
½ teaspoon baking powder
½ teaspoon salt
3 cups (600g) granulated sugar
1½ cups (3 sticks/340g) unsalted butter, softened
